Hiatus again and again

Dear hiatus,

Aaarrrggghhhh!!! This is my third time on hiatus. You know that I am a working woman, I only cook and bake on weekend. And now, another exam is awaiting. I didn’t want to fail again like previous exam *oops! all over the world knows that I was failed*, so I have to study harder on the weekend *of course, I don’t have another time* and put aside my cooking and baking projects *again* huhuhu.

Old & New

Happy New Year!

This is my first post in 2012 with a new layout *yeayyy!!!*. Been busy lately, so I can't update my blog. But I promise that starting next week I will cook & bake again. Say goodbye to books and exam for a while hehehe. 

Speaking about my blog, anyway it's already 1 year old. I am so happy with it, because it is my first serious blog, that I should maintained regularly. Thank God, I've already posted 26 articles and hit 2,541 viewers until now with *uhuk* only 2 comments from my idols *thank you so much mbak Vania and Friska* and 1 follower. For me, it's a nice beginning.

And now, let me introduce you with my new layout, *ehm* coffee background with chocolate font. Sounds yummy, isn't it?

Why I choose coffee and chocolate as theme of my background in this year? Who doesn't like coffee and chocolate anyway? Well, actually I don't like coffee before. But last year my father's alternative doctor suggested me to drink black coffee with bananas twice a day. He said that coffee is good to strenghten your heart. I didn't believe it at the firts time, because when I was in high school I always drink coffee every night to stay awake for study for tomorrow's exams. But it never works out, I got stomach ache and my heart beats fast and sweaty in my palms. Since then, I decided I will never drink coffee again.

Since the doctor convinced me to drink it, I tried to drink it again. And you know what? I fell in love with coffee ever since. I am enjoy trying many kinds of coffee especially kopi tubruk:p. I started to enjoy coming to the cafe such as Anomali Coffee, Starbucks, J.Co and Kopitiam Oey. And I will try all the cafe whenever possible. Ask me to go there and I will join;).

Well, that's the reason about my theme background. Happy new year friends! May this year will be better than last year. Healthier and wealthier!

Hiatus again

Heyhooo!!!

I have to admit that cooking for a blog and studying accounting are totally different activities *yaiyalahhh:D* *except for calculating the grocery shopping budget and counting the ingredients:p*. I can’t do it all at the same time.

I am surrendered.

Well, I am not a good multitasker. I prefer to focus on one thing at a time.  Cooking for a blog means preparing the ingredients, cooking, taking photos, writing the recipe, translating into English, editing and proofreading *mostly all by myself* *jadi kalo ade sale2 kate maapin aje hehehe* while studying accounting means reading, counting, writing, understanding and memorizing.

They are indeed time consuming.

So, I have to say goodbye again to my lovely kitchen. See you after I finished study.

My first foodblog

Dear my blog,

This is my first foodblog. I found it when I googled my name hihihi. Look at my writing! I was 4n4k 4l4y at that time hahaha. I really didn’t know what to write.

I took a halfday course from NCC for making it. Taught by Ms. Riana at Salemba. After that I was busy and forget the password *sigh*.

Going to the Traditional Market!

Dear traditional market lovers,

Two weeks ago, me and my mom went to the traditional market near our home. The name of the market is Pasar Perumnas Klender. This is the market that my mom’s usually spend her time almost every day. Buying some food for her beloved family. And I have a chance to capture some of the sellers who’s one of them is my neighbour, her name is ibu Puput.

Here some pictures that I got from my visit to this market..

Ibu Puput was surrounded with the spices and herbs (onions, garlics, shallots, etc)

Back for Good

Hi there!

I am back! Yes, I proudly announce that I am back to the kitchen hahaha. I won't make any promises anymore, because I looove cooking & baking a lot. I don't care about my exam. But I will try to study and cooking at the same time hehehe. Actually I have lots of stories to tell, but I don't know where to start. Let me point out one by one:

1. My father was sick *so sad*, so he must go on diet, exactly diet for diabetes, hypertensive heart disease and also kidney disease *whew so many!*. My mom and me are starting to collect the recipes for that kind of diet. The good thing is we like experiencing the new recipes moreover they are all healthy food.

2. I have finished study for the exam *at least for this month* so I can cook and bake every week. Yay!

3. Our family is trying hard to avoid yummy culinary experience. Since my father was sick, so we have to cook more often and not consuming junk food or fast food anymore. Yup, I think, we must focus on healthy eating habit. Say good bye to cholesterol! I miss you so much indeed.

4.Heyyy! I have another new blog, the name is kamaratika! Hahaha... Where I can write about anything besides food. Enter my room if you want to know me better;) *I made this blog when I felt stuck while studying hihi*

These photos were taken before my father was sick. Above photo was in Dermaga One Seafood at FMIPA UI Depok, and below photo was in Wiro Sableng 212 Seafood at Kelapa Gading* right is my father's hand and left is my brother's hand*. Yup we are seafood lover. And we eated all in two days. Oh, I really missed that moments. Get well soon, Pak! So we can enjoy seafood again! *at least once a year lah* *lama amat yak?*

Dear empty kitchen,

I won't cook and bake until I passed the examination, I have already promised to myself *fingers crossed*. Occasionally, I will come to the kitchen only for boiling water or cooking instant noodle haha..

Brownie Fun!

Dear brownies lovers,

When I went to Toko Ani with Lina *semoga dia ga kesandung jalannya, dari kemarin disebut2 mulu namanya:D*, I decided for not buying any kind of baking ingredients, since I have to study for the examination. I only bought couverture chocolate for making melted brownies at that time.

So, I stood near the cashier, I didn't want to see the entire shop. But suddenly my eyes caught a brownie book at the cashier stall. I asked the cashier to get it for me. After reading it randomly for a while, I decided to buy it, because I looove brownies a lot. A simple reason. See???

And now... I am confused to choose between reading my exam materials, Brownie Fun! or Topeng Kaca 7 *comic that I lend from Titin*? All of them are interesting.

Mom + Me = Wilton

Dear Wilton lovers,

I do believe that I am my mom's daughter haha.. I don't have to doubt about it. Even though since I was kid, I always disagreed with my mom's said and I felt that I am not her kid but my father's kid hoho. Yup, I kinda naughty anyway. But, when I grow older, I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love youuu... *it's a Queen song anyway.. haha* I mean, when I grow older, especially when I was in college, when I felt like I have much time to do anything, when I read the woman magz that so many recipes I haven't tried yet. So from that day, I cooked and baked passionately.

Well.. it's gonna be a long long story if I tell you about my cooking and baking hobbies. I should write it until my fingers cramped *see.. I am a lazy blogger* and you should prepare snack and coffee beside your table while reading it haha..

So to make it short, actually I just want to show you the first my mom's and my Wilton magazine. My mom bought it at Toko Ani in 1984 and I bought it also with my mom at Toko Ani in 2009. Amazing isn't it?
